In the fall of 1974, Jackie Woods as a substitute teacher in Palm Beach County, has the misfortune to have a psychopathic student in her class her fi rst year of teaching. This young man wants to avenge the humiliation he feels she had bestowed upon him. In 1979, at seventeen-years-old, along with an accomplice, he kidnaps her. When she is rescued, he stalks her, then confronts her at gun point but she steadfastly holds to her faith in her heavenly Father. She believes that God will protect her from this homicidal maniac. Along with her family, she stays faithful to her convictions and the young man vents his rage upon two others he feels are blocking his plan of revenge toward the teacher.,p> Jackie’s son, Tim, now seventeen, trusts in the Lord to lead the victim of an attack to salvation and then shows a family how to keep their young child from becoming a menace to others. He also leads a Jewish family to a relationship with the Messiah of Gentile believers without compromising their heritage or culture. While living in West Palm Beach, Jackie travels to Butler, Ohio where she finds peace until the danger is over and she can return home.
